Although it's a small place, my 2 yr old had a great time feeding the fish, petting the sharks and stingrays and playing with the sand in the digging area. The staff was really friendly and made every effort to give guests a good time. It feels more like a small town aquarium, and it might not be the best idea for the older kids. But if your kid is under 6, this is a good place to spend a few hours.
This is the MOST kid friendly aquarium I've EVER been to. I absolutely LOVE it. You don't just get to feed birds, or the sting rays. You get to feed the octopus, ostrich, alligator, turtles, iguanas, and so many other animals. I'm currently stationed in California (military) with family in Laredo. I don't always get the chance to come, but when I do I take it! I love, love, love it here!
The bird cage experience was greatly enhance by Eddie G's creating a fun atmosphere for all guest.
I was also surprised at the amount of knowledge Ryan H shared with us, he provided excellent service and gave helpful advise for making my father experience memorable.
The aquarium experience was so much fun. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of interaction that was available for all guest.
Absolutely Outstanding! Wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Well maintained place. Fun for all ages. Moderate in price so an affordable great time. Sandbox for the kids and snorkeling for mom and dad. We will be back again. Tommy at the front door helped us out and welcomed us as soon as we got there so we wanna give him a shoutout for his hospitality. 5stars.
I was extremely impressed with the Johnny C. I asked him what was available for my father who is wheel chair bound. He informed me that me my father could have a one on one interact ion with a stingray. My father was excited that he was able to have this experience.
It was an amazing experience.... we were looking for something to do with the family and decided on this. Not only were we not expecting to be able to interact with the animals.... which was amazing!! But we also experienced some very friendly employees... They seem passionate about their jobs and were eager to interact and conversate. We went close to closing time so experiencing their enthusiasm was stupendous! I would definitely recommend going here!
